Homeowners living in the North of England have been warned of severe weather that will be sweeping the region later this week.
Winds of up to 80mph have been forecast, so homeowners are reminded to check their home insurance policies are valid and up do date, in case the storms cause any damage to property.
Scotland and Northern Ireland look set to witness the brunt of the storm on Friday, as another major Atlantic storm tracks across the country.
The Met Office warns that as urban areas such as Glasgow, Belfast and Edinburgh could in particular face disruption and damage from the fierce wind.
Buildings and contents insurance means that if the exterior or interior of your home is damaged in a storm, the policy should cover the cost of repairing and replacing items.
