A pet rabbit caused hundreds of pounds of damage when it became trapped under the floorboards at its owner's home.
Smoky, a black and white pet rabbit belonging to Kate Kaines, disappeared from a cardboard box in the kitchen.
Ms Kaines became worried when Smoky did not reappear and eventually called in the fire brigade, who used thermal equipment to locate her.
Firemen then had to tear up the floorboards of Ms Kaines' Bristol home to reach Smoky.
However, despite all of these efforts, Smoky proved a rather stubborn rabbit as it took fruit and a fishing net to lure her over to the hole.
It is estimated that the damage to the floor will cost £300 to repair, demonstrating the need for good home insurance.
Ms Kaines said: "I'm ever so glad Smoky is alright, but she is definitely in the doghouse.
"I've banished her to her cage to give her time to think about what she's done."
Good home insurance will cover customers against any eventually, even against damage caused by pet rabbits.
