Tesco launches home insurance sale

Tesco Finance has announced that it will be offering new and existing customers discounts on their home insurance rates this month.

The financial arm of the retail giant has said that any customers applying for home insurance online will receive a 25 per cent discount on their new policy.

This has been extended, so that motorist's who have their car insurance with Tesco and then also purchase home insurance, will receive an additional five per cent off.

As a further incentive, Tesco says that it will give Clubcard holders 1,000 reward points when they purchase Tesco home insurance.

It is important to make sure your home is adequately covered by home insurance in case the worst should happen.

Experts are increasingly warning that that this winter looks to be one of the harshest on record.

Only yesterday the Environment Agency and the Met Office issued flood warnings across Britain.
