Insurance companies are seeking to help homeowners in parts of Yorkshire deal with the devastation of this weekend's flash floods.
Following some of the hottest weather of the year, heavy rain caused rivers to break their banks leading to serious damage to residential and commercial property.
While the priority will be on clearing up the mess left by the rising water levels, hundreds of people will have already been on the phone to their home insurance provider.
Insurer MORE TH>N has responded to the floods by issuing advice for people whose homes have been damaged.
"In situations like these, we will do everything we can to take the hassle away from home-owners and businesses," said David Pitt, head of insurance at MORE TH>N.
"By following these basic steps, you will be able to reduce the amount of damage to your property, business premises, treasured possessions, furniture and equipment. Our claims staff are trained to deal with these disasters. They will relieve some of the immense stress and strain these situations can bring."
